What is Acheron?
flectere si nequeo superos, Acheronta movebo
The Acheron is one of the principal rivers of the Roman underworld.
In the Aeneid, the poet Virgil described how the newly dead would be ferried across the Acheron to reach the afterlife, guided by the ferryman Charon.
We chose this name because crossing the Acheron represents a transformative journey that we all must make through the unknown, and we know that it sometimes helps to have a guide when you are navigating unfamiliar waters.
